Sandy Sundquist Beauman, MSN, RNC-NIC is a neonatal clinical nurse specialist with 30 years experience in neonatal nursing and more than 20 years in public speaking and presentations.  She has worked in both level II and level III neonatal units as staff, transport nurse, training specialist and clinical nurse specialist.  Sandy enjoys sharing her expertise with others and has presented at local, regional and national conferences.  Her class evaluations are consistently positive and she is praised for her practical information provided in the care of newborns for both labor and delivery, post-partum and all levels of newborn care nurses.  Sandy's particular areas of interest include infusion therapy, including placement of central catheters, infection prevention, skin and wound care, the late preterm infant and associated care and pain assessment and management in the neonatal patient.
